Band 6 Paediatric Sister/ Charge Nurse – Children's Ward

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Paediatric Sister/ Charge Nurse on our Children's Ward here at UHCW.

Ward 16 comprises 24 beds caring for children and young people with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions, including oncology. It works closely with Birmingham Children’s Hospital as a shared care centre.

As shift/team leader, you will provide clinical leadership and management support, develop and evaluate best practice within the department, and deputise for the department manager as required. After training you will hold the Paediatric bleep, attend medical emergencies, and support bed‑management responsibilities.
