Quality Engineer

Position: Quality Engineer (Contract)
This is an incredible opportunity to join a global leader in defence business as a Quality Engineer. This company is renowned for its innovative solutions and high-performance products, offering a dynamic work environment where your contributions truly matter. This contract Quality Engineer role will be involved in multiple programs/platforms working 08::30 Monday to Thursday with an early finish on Friday.

Paying £28 - £35 per hour PAYE, Umbrella or LCC.

What You Will Do:

- Identify areas for continuous improvement and ensure all quality standards are achieved or exceeded.

- Conduct investigations using problem resolution tools and techniques to address quality issues.

- Drive key performance indicators for Quality and ensure consistent monitoring.

- Perform product and process audits, ensuring adherence to written manufacturing procedures.

- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming and outgoing products.

- Review supplier documentation and support supplier product approvals as part of a progressive assurance programme.

What You Will Bring:

- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Defence or Automotive sectors.

- Able to pass a DBS and SC clearance

- A strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances.

- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards.

- Proven ability to work with customers and suppliers to ensure quality standards.

- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
