Job brief
We are looking for a motivated Sales & Business Development Manager to help expand Tebis UK’s presence in the market. In this role, you will actively seek new business opportunities, build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, and support our small local team in driving revenue growth.
You will work closely with our UK office staff and Tebis AG specialists to provide professional, well-coordinated sales processes for customers of all sizes. Your focus will be on generating new sales, maintaining customer satisfaction, and supporting long-term account development.
Ultimately, you should be able to increase Tebis UK’s market reach, develop sustainable customer relationships, and contribute directly to achieving our revenue goals.
Responsibilities
- Actively identify and contact new prospects across relevant manufacturing sectors
- Present, promote, and sell Tebis solutions to small and mid‑size customers
- Handle initial customer requirements and coordinate technical follow‑up with Tebis AG
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing accounts, including key maintenance customers
- Identify upselling opportunities (upgrades, modules, automation, PP/VM, training)
- Support renewal processes in cooperation with the office team
- Track and report sales activities, pipeline development, and market insights
- Attend customer meetings, trade fairs, or online events as required
- Provide timely responses to customer queries to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain accurate CRM records in alignment with internal processes
Requirements
- Proven work experience in sales, ideally in software, engineering, or technical products
- Strong motivation to develop skills in technical solution‑selling
- Good understanding of the manufacturing sector is an advantage
- Ability to build productive business and professional relationships
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to organise workload and manage time effectively
- Competence with MS Office and CRM software
- Professional presentation skills, able to tailor messages to different audiences
- Full UK driving licence
- BSc/BA degree or equivalent is an advantage but not mandatory
