Job Overview- Protect customer property, people, and assets in accordance with the Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and any subsequent changes.
- Deliver results that meet or exceed the key performance indicators / Service Level Agreement (SLA), providing a service that aids in the retention of the contract.

Main Duties Operations- Be aware of and ensure compliance with all policies, legal and regulatory requirements, as directed by the Security Account Manager and UK Law.
- Fully and satisfactorily complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within the published AI’s.
- Proactively review the AI’s, familiarise yourself with any changes, and suggest amendments that improve service levels.
- Maintain front‑line licence in either Security Guarding or Door Supervision, and keep the CCTV PSS SIA licence visible at all times. Renew licences 16 weeks before expiry.
- Comply with all legal obligations and safety requirements of the role.
- Follow instructions and procedures appropriately without unnecessarily challenging authority.
- Work systematically, methodically, and in an orderly manner.
- Fully and satisfactorily complete all required competency training.
- Continue training for continuous development as directed by the Security Account Manager.
- Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge through professional development.
- Identify and immediately report any health or safety hazards on site.
- Stay alert to threats or changes in the work environment to reduce the risk of disruption, loss, or damage.
- Use common sense and initiative by involving others if a situation becomes threatening.
- Maintain professional conduct in difficult situations and with challenging customers.
- Complete accurate, detailed notebook entries promptly after any incident for use in the Incident Report process.
- Adhere to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client.
- Ensure check calls are conducted at the allocated time slots as stipulated in the AI’s.
- Call emergency services and the Communication Centre to report all incidents.
- Previous Security Experience
- SIA Licence
- SC Clearance desirable
- MUST have a full UK driver’s licence
- Day shift pattern averages 56hrs per week.
