Supported Housing Officer
Join Citizen to help vulnerable adults in the West Midlands. This role involves intensive housing management and person‑centred support at The Gateway, Hillfields, Coventry.
Position Details- Salary: £36,149 per year
- Work pattern:
Full time, 37 hours per week, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. rota basis - Location:
Scheme based, The Gateway, Hillfields, Coventry, CV1 5TU - Closing date: 8 January 2026
- Work with residents to develop financial, life and tenancy skills, increase resilience and confidence, and promote independence
- Prevent homelessness, sustain accommodation, and support residents in achieving positive move‑on opportunities into independent accommodation to improve their life chances and build a foundation for life
- Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive professional relationships with residents and partner agencies
- Work collaboratively to provide holistic support and promote resident engagement and wellbeing
- Experience working with vulnerable adults in a community setting or supported housing
- Previous experience in housing management and support
- CIH Level 3 or willingness to undertake qualification
- Empathetic, positive, optimistic and solutions‑focused in everything you do, believing passionately in the social value of delivering outstanding services to Citizen customers and colleagues
- Annual leave: 26 days per year plus bank holidays
