About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HGV Driver to join our team at our Coventry site. Reporting to the Assistant Transport Manager, you’ll play a key role as the face of Univar, delivering exceptional service to our customers in a competitive market.

This position requires the position-holder to operate Class 2 vehicles and carry out low-pressure discharge deliveries as needed. The role would suit a skilled and reliable driver with experience in trunking between sites and customer deliveries, who takes pride in maintaining high standards and can work confidently on their own.

Safety is at the heart of everything we do, so we’re looking for someone who takes a serious, proactive approach to safety and enjoys being part of a supportive, professional team. You’ll be working an average 48-hour week, Monday to Friday, within a collaborative and safety-focused environment with opportunities to grow within a global organisation.

Who we are looking for:

• Class 2 HGV licence (essential)

• Full, clean UK drivers licence

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience

• Good communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Flexible with work times

• Self-motivated and willing to learn

• Excellent customer service skills

• Full compliance with legislation and clean digicard maintained

• Good housekeeping to keep vehicles clean and tidy inside and out
