Job Title – HGV/LGV Class 2 Driver

Location – Coventry

Contract – Temp to Perm

Days available – Monday to Friday

Driver Resource Recruitment are actively seeking to recruit HGV/LGV Class 2 Drivers to work with one of our clients on an ongoing basis based in Coventry, Warwickshire

Our client is a leading UK manufacturer of plastic products for the Garden & Home. Delivering Pallets and Loose goods to customers across the UK. Their product range extends across a variety of categories including the Food Storage and Preparation, Housewares, Storage and Gardening sectors.

Start Times – Between 04:00-08:00. Flexibility is a must.

Days – Monday to Friday (With 2 nights out per week)

Shift – Average between 8-12 hours.

Duties:

* Multidrop to Customers houses

* Manual Handling of Customer deliveries

* Be punctual and good with Time Keeping

* Communicate to Customers and Transport Manager efficiently

Requirements:

* Over 25 years old for insurance purposes

* Tramping 2 Nights out per week

* Clean HGV Class 2 Licence

* Up to date CPC and Tacho

* Experienced with Manual Rigid Trucks

PAYE RATE

 * £18.21 per hour

 * £25 per Night out plus up to £25 in Parking paid (paid 1 week in arrears)

Training is provided to all new staff. The driver will accompany a experienced Driver on routes to get used to palletised deliveries at first, then the Class 2 Driver will receive training on loose deliveries. Once the Driver has completed full training they will be given a regular truck to drive and look after whilst on shift. Once training is completed, deliveries are mostly loose and will require Manual Handling.

Our client delivers all across the UK & Ireland so tramping nights out are a must for early starts.

This is a Temp to Perm 12 week role, once completed you will gain a full time contract from the Client.
