Hours: 45 hours across Monday‑Friday Only
Package: Basic salary up to £31,000.00 (dependent on experience) + bonus & flexible benefits package including up to 27 days holiday (plus bank holidays & additional annual leave purchasing scheme)

Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operative Key Responsibilities
- Receive supplier deliveries, checking quantities and quality against purchase orders.
- Store goods correctly to maintain stock integrity and efficient warehouse flow.
- Record incoming stock accurately and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Pick, pack, load, and dispatch orders accurately and on time.
- Ensure items are securely packaged to prevent damage in transit.
- Optimise picking routes and methods to support efficiency and customer deadlines.
- Participate in regular stock counts and audits.
- Maintain accurate inventory records to support availability and planning.
- Process returns in line with company procedures, ensuring correct inspection and documentation.
- Provide prompt, professional support when interacting with customers, suppliers, or colleagues.
- Work closely with Sales and other departments to meet delivery requirements and resolve issues.
- Communicate any stock, quality, or delivery concerns in a timely manner.
- Operate forklifts safely (Counterbalance essential; Bendi/Pivot Steer advantageous).
- Maintain a clean, organised working environment.
- Comply with all health, safety, environmental, and ISO standards, reporting concerns where necessary.
HGV Class 2 Driver (cover) Key Responsibilities
- Provide cover for Class 2 driving duties as required (typically up to 15 drops per day).
- Complete customer deliveries safely, professionally, and in line with route plans.
- Accurately complete delivery notes and relevant documentation.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks, reporting defects and maintaining cleanliness/fuelling.
- Handle goods carefully, assessing product condition and reporting damage or issues.
- Drive safely and courteously, following all road traffic regulations and company policies.
- Comply with MOT, vehicle operation, and legal requirements relevant to commercial driving.
- Report incidents, accidents, or licence penalties promptly and co‑operate with investigations.
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a busy warehouse environment.
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence with at least one year’s driving experience.
- Residing within a comfortable commute of our Coventry (Exhall) site.
- Willingness to work full-time in the warehouse with occasional driving duties.
- Valid Counterbalance forklift licence (Bendi/Pivot Steer beneficial).
- Reliable track record in goods‑in/out or similar operational roles.
- Strong work ethic, flexibility, and the ability to work well within a team.
- Good understanding of health & safety and manual handling practices.
- Clear communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Experience working with varied product lines or within a fast‑paced warehouse.
- Previous collaboration with sales, purchasing, or other internal departments.
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively in a dynamic environment.
