I currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner to join a leading logistics company at their site in Coventry.
As the Transport Planner you will be responsible for managing the companys UK to Ireland transport operations.

As a transport planner, your role will involve:

Providing shipment updates and respond to customer inquiries.
Coordinating transport bookings and plan loads efficiently.
Assigning vehicles and give drivers clear instructions.
Maintain communication with customers and internal teams.
Handle PODs, job pricing, and general transport admin tasks

Essential requirements:

Strong transport planning background (minimum of 2 years)
Experience planning full and part loads
Express freight experience

Experience of UK to Ireland transport operations as well as Import and Export knowledge would be highly advantageous.
