Quantity Surveyor Assistant

The Deluxe Group have been providing bespoke joinery services internationally for over 50 years from its headquarters in Portadown. The Deluxe Group has a deserved reputation as a quality player in its chosen markets providing high-end bespoke fit out & manufacturing services to Luxury Hospitality, Marine Outfitters, Super Prime Residentials, Education, Commercial Offices, and Themed Attractions. Due to continued growth, we have a new opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor Assistant to join our expanding team based at our Head Office in Portadown, Co.

Armagh with very limited travel required (1-2 days per month). This is an excellent opportunity for an entry level QS who is enthusiastic about long term development within a well established commercial team working across several sectors. You will be involved in assisting the commercial management team of various diverse & high-end projects and working closely with the Project Management team in a client facing role.

This role requires very occasional travel only. You will be involved in:
Assisting in the preparation and submission of valuations. Collating variation quotations. Supporting the Procurement and management of sub-contractor processes. Collating and administering subcontractor documents. Document Control of contractual documentation. Assistant with the preparation of Monthly CVR/Cost Reports and final accounts. You will be a self-managed professional who is goal and deadline driven & willing to develop knowledge in various design, contractual and technical documents.

Essential Criteria :
You must posses or working towards a relevant third level qualification such as Quantity Surveying, Construction Management. 12 months experience in a similar role. Proficient IT skills. You must be an articulate, yet critical thinker and problem solver with strong technical ability. You must have strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
