Yard Person

We are hiring a Yard Person to support the business by maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑organised yard area.

• Carrying out all general yard duties including sweeping, cleaning and maintaining external areas.
• Managing general waste streams, including organising skips, segregating waste and supporting recycling.
• Operating a forklift to move materials, pallets, bins and goods safely around site.
• Loading and unloading deliveries as required.
• Ensuring the yard is kept tidy, safe and accessible at all times.
• Supporting production and warehouse teams with outdoor or yard‑based tasks.
• Recording movement of goods, waste, or equipment where required.
• Any other duties as required to fulfil the company needs.

You should have

• Previous experience in a yard/dispatch environment.
• A valid forklift licence.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently whilst being a good team player working cross‑functionally with all departments.
