Overview
MPA Armagh are working on behalf of our Public Sector Client to recruit a Band 3 Cook. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen understanding of food safety and kitchen operations.
Both full time and part time hours available.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, making adjustments as necessary.
- NVQ Level 3 in Food Preparation & Cooking or equivalent PLUS 2 years large scale cooking experience OR
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation & Cooking or equivalent PLUS 3 years large scale cooking experience OR
- 4 years large scale cooking experience
