About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Design Draughts person to join a dynamic engineering team delivering offshore and energy engineering projects. You'll work on technically challenging designs, producing high-quality 2D and 3D models that support critical projects within the sector.
Key Responsibilities- Produce, review, and check 2D/3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
- Support Project Engineers and Project Managers to ensure deliverables meet project requirements
- Contribute to design reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, and project documentation
- Ensure all work complies with technical standards, specifications, and ISO 9001 procedures
- Minimum 3 years' experience in design/draughting roles
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
- HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
- Experience in offshore, heavy, or energy-related engineering is highly advantageous
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and adaptable to project needs
- Work on high‑profile offshore and energy projects with exposure to advanced engineering technologies
