Cranbrook, BC, is a vibrant community located in a broad open valley between the Rocky Mountains to the east and the Purcell Mountains to the west. Known as the “Sunniest Spot in BC,” Cranbrook has a rich history and culture, situated on the traditional territories of the Ktunaxa First Nations, who have cared for the land for generations.

FW Green Clinic is a collaborative team of 15 family physicians and allied healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Our clinic is proud of its welcoming environment, forward-thinking approach, and commitment to being a positive part of the community. We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an office-based psychiatrist to join our progressive team.

The new psychiatrist role is office‑based, located in our modern therapy space. By adding this position, FW Green Clinic aims to enhance our multidisciplinary care team and better serve the needs of our community. The payment model is fee‑for‑service, with negotiable overhead costs. The contract is a flexible agreement for one or two psychiatrists to work out of our clinic 4‑5 days per week, Monday to Friday.

Additionally, there is an optional opportunity to join the inpatient psychiatry team at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital, though this is not a requirement. As there is currently no psychiatric practice within our clinic, we will work with you to create a schedule and patient panel tailored to your preferences. We are committed to assisting with this process and have extensive experience setting up referral pathways for specialties within our clinic.
