The East Kootenay Regional Hospital, located at the foot of the Rockies in Cranbrook, BC, is seeking an anatomical or general pathologist to complete our pathology team. Our hospital serves a catchment of approximately 85,000 people and supports a Level 4 BCCA oncology clinic, on-site MRI, and specialist services in internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery, urology, ENT, orthopedics, ophthalmology, pediatrics, and radiology.

Our group performs approximately 10,000 inpatient and outpatient surgical cases and ten to fifteen hospital autopsies per year, as well as non-gynecological cytopathology and frozen sections. There is also an opportunity to perform coroner’s autopsies if interested.

We provide medical leadership for all of the Interior Health laboratories in the East Kootenay region. Our technical and support staff are dedicated and highly skilled, and the collaborative relationships with our clinical colleagues create an exceptional work environment.
