Interior Health is seeking a Permanent Part-Time Shift Coordinator to join the team at East Kootenay Regional Hospital, located in Cranbrook, BC.

Shift Type:
Rotating shifts days (07:15 to 19:15) and nights (19:15 to 07:15).

The Shift Coordinator practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a patient and family centered care model.

The Shift Coordinator oversees patient placement, bed utilization, and staffing across all shifts to ensure smooth operations at all times. They act as a clinical resource to staff, assisting in resolving issues related to patient care, staffing levels, and bed utilization. The Shift Coordinator is accountable for ensuring excellence in the provision of patient-centered care throughout the hospital during their assigned shift.
