Were looking for a versatile and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy engineering environment. Youll play a key role in keeping production equipment and CNC machinery running smoothly across multiple local sites, while also handling general facilities maintenance and PLC fault finding.
As a Maintenance Engineer your duties will include:
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on CNC machines and other production equipment
Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimise downtime
Implement preventive maintenance plans and keep accurate records
Undertake basic building maintenance (electrical, HVAC, plumbing)
Work on PLC fault finding and control systems
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Liaise with external contractors for specialist repairs
The successful Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the below skills & experience:
Time-served apprenticeship and HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
Proven experience maintaining CNC machinery and production equipment
Strong PLC fault-finding skills
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Driving licence (essential)
