Job Purpose

To carry out tyre fitting, repairs, balancing, and alignment on a range of vehicles within a dealership environment. The Tyre Fitter will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards while delivering excellent customer service and supporting the workshop team.

• Remove, refit, and repair tyres on a range of cars and light vehicles.
• Carry out wheel balancing and wheel alignment as required.
• Inspect tyres for wear and damage, advising on replacement when necessary.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with manufacturer and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used.
• Check and maintain tyre stock levels, assisting with ordering when required.
• Support Technicians and Service Advisors by providing accurate tyre information and updates.
• Ensure the workshop and tyre fitting area are kept clean, safe, and well-organised.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service, maintaining the professional image of the dealership.

• Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter / Fast Fit Technician / Tyre Technician.
• Strong knowledge of tyre fitting, balancing, and alignment equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, customer-focused workshop.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Experience working within a franchised car dealership or fast fit environment.
• Basic mechanical skills and interest in vehicle servicing.
• Training or certification in wheel alignment or tyre technologies.
