Contract Manager (x2) Wolverhampton (Hybrid) £70,000 DOE Do you have the commercial acumen to shape and manage contracts that keep advanced engineering projects running smoothly? We're looking for 2 Contract Managers to join a global engineering and technology business operating across the aerospace and defence sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in strengthening how contracts are managed across complex engineering and manufacturing operations.
You'll work closely with teams across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Quality to ensure every agreement supports the company's strategic goals, protects its position, and enables successful project delivery. This is a hands-on role with real variety - reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts across the full lifecycle, from bid support through to live supplier and customer management.
Key responsibilities include:
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts across supply, manufacturing, and service agreements.
• Advising on contractual risks and liabilities, ensuring compliance and commercial alignment.
• Leading contract reviews during bid and proposal stages to ensure terms and pricing support business strategy.
• Managing contract change control, renewals, and performance tracking.
• Supporting project teams in interpreting contract requirements and managing deliverables.
• Developing standard templates, approval workflows, and improving contract governance.
• Working with legal advisors on complex or high-value negotiations. The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience in contract or commercial management within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of contract law, risk, and supplier/customer agreements.
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence at all levels.
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach, balancing commercial pragmatism with risk awareness.
• Familiarity with international contracting frameworks (e.g. ITAR, EAR, NEC, JCT) would be advantageous Start on BPSS, no SC required Benefits
