Location: Crawley, West Sussex Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 (DOE)

Reed Crawley are delighted to be working with a respected and growing accountancy practice to recruit an experienced Client Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong practice experience to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio and play a key role in the firm’s continued success.
About the RoleAs a Client Manager, you will manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring servicerowth. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing proactive business advice, overseeing accounts and tax compliance, and supporting the development of the wider team. This role offers significant scope for progression and involvement in shaping the firm’s future growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients, maintaining strong relationships through regular contact and meetings
- Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, tax computations, and management accounts
- Provide ad-hoc advice on internal controls, risk management, and governance issues
- Set and monitor fees, budgets, and deadlines for your client portfolio
- Identify opportunities to grow fees and acquire new clients through networking and referrals
- Review work produced by team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation
- Train, mentor, and appraise team members, supporting their technical and professional development
- Attend networking events and new client pitches, preparing proposals as required
- Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and firm policies
- Collaborate with Senior Managers and Directors to ensure efficient workflow and client satisfaction
- fiafia ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Significant gom asic within an accountancy practice (essential)
- Strong technical knowledge of accounts and tax
- Excellent leadership, communication
