• Provide professional on‑site hose replacement service to customers.
• Participate in a 24‑hour on‑call rota with other technicians.
• Promote products and services to existing and prospective customers throughout the territory.
• Maintain the highest levels of health‑and‑safety practice, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment.
• Day‑to‑day management of a Mobile Sales & Service Unit (MSSU), which includes:
• Maintaining sufficient stock levels within the MSSU.
• Performing routine maintenance checks in accordance with the MSSU defect checklists.
• Ensuring the MSSU is kept clean and tidy, inside and out.
• Managing all supplied documentation within the MSSU, including technical and procedure updates.
• Provide assistance to colleagues within the franchise when requested.
• Attend training courses as requested.
• Maintain good personal presentation and adhere to policy and procedures.
• Work unsupervised and meet time constraints.
• Successfully complete the induction and training programmes and subsequent on‑site assessments as required.
• Effectively communicate technical information to customers and colleagues.

• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Good manual dexterity and physical ability.
• Good communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• Professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers, staff and colleagues.

• Full UK driving licence.
• Induction training (provided).
• Work experience in a technical/engineering environment.
