Role OverviewAs a Business Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of existing business customers. Your focus will be on building strong relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring that our clients get maximum value from their partnership with CAN Solutions.
You’ll have clear performance targets, but we’ll equip you with all the tools, training, and support you need not just to hit them, but to exceed them.
Key Responsibilities- Account Management – Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of existing business accounts.
- Relationship Building – Develop strong, long‑term relationships with clients at all levels.
- Growth & Retention – Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities while ensuring account retention and customer satisfaction.
- Target Achievement – Work towards quarterly revenue and retention targets.
- Pipeline Management – Maintain an accurate record of opportunities, forecasts, and client interactions within the CRM system.
- Solution Selling – Understand customer needs and propose tailored CAN Solutions services that deliver value.
- Reporting & Insights – Provide regular account updates, progress reports, and insights to the Head of Account Management.
- Customer Advocacy – Be the voice of the customer internally, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Proven experience in account management, preferably in telecoms, IT, or a B2B services environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Target‑driven with a proactive, self‑motivated approach.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts while delivering excellent service.
- Commercial awareness and a passion for helping businesses grow.
