Crewe Town Council is an ambitious council that provides a range of services, community projects and events to its residents and community. The Town Council is well placed to unite and coordinate the actions of all its stakeholders, be they our residents, businesses, and local authorities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Communications Officer with a ‘can do’ attitude, lots of creativity and bags of initiative who is keen to help us design and take forward our Crewe Town Council communications strategy.
As the Communications Officer you will bring to the role demonstrable experience of delivering effective news management, internal communication, external communication, behaviour change campaigns, reputation risk management and external reputation assessment.
Within the role as the Communications Officer, you will be delivering high-quality written materials- articles, blogs, news releases and social media copy, and compelling video, graphic assets, and podcasts. We want people who can think innovatively about how the Council leads on ensuring that all citizens of the town are supported, celebrated and are able to live together in vibrant and safe neighbourhoods.
