Join Heaven's Playground Org as a Trustee. This volunteer role offers strategic oversight and governance for our growing charity. We especially welcome trustees with prior board experience or those who can add diversity to our board.

Serving as a Trustee is the ultimate way to impact Heaven's Playground Org by providing strategic direction, oversight, and governance that guides the entire organization.

• Guarantee ethical and legal operation of the charity.
• Ensure robust policies, compliance with charity law and effective risk management.
• Maintain financial integrity: manage funds responsibly, oversee budgets, and protect public and donor trust.
• Set strategic direction, deciding how and where the charity grows, including program launches and resource allocation.
• Safeguard the core mission of Heaven's Playground Org, ensuring all activities focus on high‑quality bereavement support.
• Drive diversity, inclusion, and community representation in governance decisions.

• Legal & Governance Experience in charity law, policy making, and compliance.
• Accounting & Finance Knowledge of charity accounting, financial oversight, and risk management.
• Bereavement work experience (e.g., Midwife, Bereavement Counsellor, Palliative Care Specialist, Social Worker).
• Deep understanding or empathy for the grief process.
• Commitment to governance and ability to dedicate time to strategic planning and oversight.

We seek to diversify our board, which currently consists mainly of 5 women and 1 man aged 30‑50. We welcome diversity in age, ethnic background, gender, and professional expertise.
