I am currently looking for an accomplished Sales Co‑ordinator to play a pivotal role in supporting the sales process, ensuring smooth communication between the company and its customers.
Whilst joining a well‑established production business and with a heavy duty of administrative responsibilities within a customer‑facing capacity, you will conduct outbound calling activity, generating orders, seeking new leads, whilst communicating with existing customers.
Key Responsibilities- Researching and canvassing for new business, processing customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Prepare quotes, invoices, and other sales‑related documentation.
- Assisting the sales team with preparing reports, presentations, and sales data.
- Handling inbound calls and make outbound calls to existing customers to follow up on orders, check satisfaction, and identify upselling opportunities.
- Advise customers of predicted delivery dates, updates on orders, dealing with customer queries.
- Approving orders for accounts which are over the original credit limit set.
- Supporting Finance on the control of credit limits and chasing late payments.
- Identify sales opportunities and pass leads to the sales team whilst supporting marketing campaigns.
With proven experience of working in a sales environment – ideally in a production / manufacturing / engineering capacity – you will showcase the ability to find opportunities to explore in order to generate new business.
You will have a clear understanding of sales targets, working to deadlines, whilst providing technical and professional advice.
