Red Rock Consultants are recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing manufacturing business, who are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Coordinator to join their team.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in supporting the sales function, ensuring smooth communication between the business and its customers. This is a varied, fast-paced role combining administration, customer service, telesales, and lead generation.

You’ll be responsible for processing orders, managing customer accounts, supporting the sales team, and helping to drive new business through outbound calls and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

* Process customer orders accurately and manage quotes, invoices, and sales documentation

* Maintain and update customer and order information on internal systems

* Set up new customer accounts and manage credit limits

* Research, canvas, and generate new business opportunities

* Handle inbound calls and make outbound follow-up and telesales calls

* Check customer satisfaction, identify upselling opportunities, and maintain service levels

* Advise customers on delivery dates, order updates, and resolve queries or complaints

* Support Finance with credit control, approving over-limit orders, and chasing payments

* Manage the diaries of Key Account Directors and Account Managers

* Support marketing campaigns and lead generation activities

The Right Candidate

* Previous experience in a sales support, customer service, or telesales role

* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills

* Highly organised with the ability to multitask

* Strong attention to detail

* Results-focused with a positive, “can-do” attitude

* Comfortable handling objections and promoting products
