Assess needs for social work services, identifying risks and determining appropriate interventions in line with legislation and local policy.

Liaise and negotiate with partner agencies and professionals to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery.

Manage and prioritise a caseload in accordance with council policies, procedures, and statutory timescales.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records and complete required administrative tasks to a high standard.

Participate in supervision, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities.

Contribute to service evaluation and development through reflective practice and sharing professional insights.

Supervise and support social work students where appropriate, contributing to workforce development.
