Hygiene Operative

We are currently seeking a Hygiene Operative on behalf of our client, a gluten-free bakery based in Crossmaglen. The bakery supplies the majority of its products to the United States and Australia.

• Contribute to the maintenance of food safety standards by collaborating with colleagues and adhering to hygiene protocols and best practices.
• Ensuring the factor consistently adheres to high health and safety standards.
• Maintaining hygiene standards in accordance with company policy, wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided. This includes appropriate safety PPE during chemical handling.
• Completing cleaning tasks according to schedules and procedures as set out by your manager, including daily, weekly, and deep-cleaning routines, to ensure thorough sanitisation and prevention of contamination.
• Managing waste responsibly by correctly disposing of food waste and packaging materials, while keeping designated waste areas clean and tidy.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Rate:
Day

Shift: £12.93 per hour and if successful after 2 months will move up to £14.29 per hour. Night

Shift: £14.86 per hour and if successful after 2 months will move up to £16.43 per hour.

Working Hours:

Day Shift: Thursday 7am - 7pm, Friday 7am - 7pm, Saturday 7am - 7pm, Sunday 10am - 6pm and Night Shift: 7pm - 7amWeek 1:
Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Week 2:
Wednesday & Thursday or Week 1:
Saturday, Wednesday & Thursday. Week 2:
Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday.
