Roofing Estimator

GVR Solutions are working with a well-established roofing contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Roofing Estimator to join their friendly, office-based team in Croydon.

As a Roofing Estimator, you will play a key role in pricing and securing new projects. You will work closely with the contracts and commercial teams to prepare accurate quotations, assess tender documentation, and ensure competitive and profitable submissions.

Responsibilities of the Roofing Estimator:

* Preparing detailed and accurate estimates for roofing projects (pitched, flat, or sheet depending on experience)

* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents

* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing

* Preparing quotations and bids within deadlines

* Working collaboratively with the operations team to ensure smooth project handover

* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of materials, methods, and market rates

The Roofing Estimator must have / be:

* Proven experience as a Roofing Estimator (commercial, residential, or industrial)

* Strong understanding of roofing systems and construction processes

* Ability to read technical drawings and specifications

* Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills

* Confident communicator with strong attention to detail

* Proficient in relevant software (Excel, estimating packages, etc.)
