Critical Site Supervisor – Data Centre Environment – Croydon - £60,000
Full-Time | Mon–Fri, 8am–4pm (with occasional out-of-hours work)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Critical Site Supervisor to take the lead in a secure and high-availability Data Centre environment based in Croydon. This role involves managing a small team of engineers and overseeing the day-to-day technical operations of a critical facility.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and supervise a small team of engineers, ensuring high standards of service and safety.

* Oversee planned and reactive maintenance across critical building services.

* Support infrastructure projects, including occasional evening and weekend work.

* Perform monthly generator load tests (typically out of hours).

* Ensure the site remains compliant with all statutory and regulatory obligations.

* Act as a local point of contact for emergency response

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a technical supervisory role, ideally within a critical environment such as a data centre or secure facility.

* Strong technical background in electrical and/or mechanical systems.

* Leadership skills with a hands-on approach to team management.

* Willingness and flexibility to support out-of-hours work when needed.

* Must live locally due to emergency response requirements.

* Must be eligible for and willing to complete full Security Clearance checks.

Desirable:

* Current HVAP certification (or readiness to achieve within 12 months).

* Experience in secure, high-resilience environments.
