Panel Wire Person

Join a well-established manufacturer with a strong reputation for producing high-quality engineered products. We’re looking for a skilled Panel Wire Person to wire, assemble, and build electrical systems to a high standard, supporting smooth and efficient production.

Role Overview :
You’ll be responsible for wiring and assembling electrical equipment from schematics and layout drawings. Working closely with production and engineering teams, you’ll ensure each build meets specification, quality expectations, and safety standards.

What You’ll Do:

Wire and assemble electrical builds from technical drawings and wiring schedules.

Route, terminate, and label cables neatly and accurately.

Install components such as switches, relays, PLCs, circuit breakers, and contractors.

Carry out electrical testing, fault-finding, and corrective work.

Work collaboratively with engineers to resolve wiring or layout issues.

Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and organisation within the workshop.

Who We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a Panel Wirer, Panel Wire Person, Electrical Assembler, or similar.

Strong ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings.

Good understanding of electrical systems and components.

Good problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach.

Able to work independently or as part of a team, managing your own workload effectively.

The Package:

Salary up to £32,000 per year
