BBI exists to help our customers create advances that improve health and save lives. We are seeking a Production Scientist to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our site in Crumlin. Join our team: advancing health, together.

The Role

The Production Technician is responsible for the manufacture and purification of protein.

In this role your responsibilities will include:

• To support (and lead where applicable) in the production of products.
• Ensuring batch record completion is performed in real time and accurate.
• Perform standard laboratory duties such as glassware cleaning.
• Supporting production team members where necessary.
• Preparation of buffers and reagents used within the production department.
• Calibration, service and maintenance of key laboratory equipment.
• Operation of key laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, incubators, rollers.
• Compliance with BBI’s quality system requirements.
• Completion of daily cleaning checks.
