Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Your new role As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on 2–3 projects at a time, assisting with the commercial delivery of these projects and ensuring cost-effectiveness and viability. The role will entail assisting with managing project costs and ensuring financial efficiency.

Responsibilities include preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents, as well as monitoring expenditures throughout the project lifecycle. Assistant QS's assist with contract administration, risk management, and value engineering to maximise profitability while maintaining compliance with strict regulations and security standards. What you'll need to succeed
• Previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong background working on commercial projects such as, education, healthcare, MOJ, MOD etc.
• Background in new-build or refurb/fitout is preferred.
• Strong technical expertise, including the use of industry standard software.
