Site Manager – Solar Farm Projects

Overview

My client is seeking two experienced Site Managers to oversee the construction and delivery of large-scale Solar Farm projects, each incorporating 132kV compound builds with both civil and electrical elements.

You’ll be responsible for managing on-site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and programme targets are achieved across all phases of the project.

These are major renewable energy infrastructure schemes with long-term programmes and excellent potential for ongoing work across future projects.

• Oversee day-to-day site operations for civil and electrical works.
• Manage and implement the Construction Phase Plan and Health & Safety Plan.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and company HSEQ procedures.
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and logistics in line with the project programme.
• Monitor progress using Microsoft Project and report updates accurately.
• Lead site safety initiatives and ensure a strong safety culture throughout delivery.
• Oversee Temporary Works activities and associated documentation.

• Proven experience managing 132kV compound build projects (civil & electrical).
• Valid SMSTS certification.
• Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator accreditation.
• First Aid (3-day) qualification.
• Working knowledge of CDM Regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
