Our client, a well-established business within the meat production sector, is seeking an experienced Production Manager with strong butchery expertise to join their team in Cullompton. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a key leadership role within a growing and reputable organisation.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day production operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety

* Lead, motivate, and develop production and butchery teams

* Plan and coordinate production schedules and maximise workflow efficiency

* Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards

* Monitor yields, analyse performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives

* Collaborate with senior leadership on forecasting, cost management, and process optimisation

About You

* Proven experience in production management within the meat industry

* Strong hands-on butchery background (retail or wholesale)

* Effective leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams

* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities

* Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and operational excellence
