Role Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic, inquisitive, and determined individuals who are looking for a challenging and fulfilling career to join our Repair team. As part of the onboarding process and personal development, the successful candidate will undergo technical training with existing technicians and managers to help build their understanding of the Teledyne Control products.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and conduct tests on equipment, materials, or prototypes.
  • Record and analyse data to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in machinery or systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades.
  • Inspect products and systems to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of tests, repairs, and procedures.
  • Create reports for engineers and managers.
  • Recommend improvements or modifications when required.
Qualifications
  • HNC / HND in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Position requires basic mechanical and electronics experience, with an emphasis on electronic skills.
  • Requires knowledge of the principles of electronics and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience testing electronic assemblies using traditional tooling, such as multi-meter, oscilloscope, power supply, function generator, etc.
  • Experience using a variety of hand tools and machine shop tools, and equipment such as soldering iron, hand drill etc.
  • Basic MS Office skills including ability to open and create files in Word, create and manipulate data in Excel and use E-mail and calendars in Outlook.
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills; follow written and verbal procedures, instructions, read schematics.
  • Must be able to deal with frequent change, delays, unexpected events or ambiguity, and is able to multi-task to accomplish repair activities to completion.
  • Requires excellent analytical skills and sound judgment to ensure error-free repairs.

Working Hours

37 hrs per week : 2 weeks dayshift / 2 weeks backshift. Dayshift: 7:00‑15:00 Mon‑Thurs, 7:00‑13:30 Fri. Backshift: 15:00‑23:15 Mon‑Thurs, 13:15‑19:45 Fri.
