We're looking for a motivated Production Team Manager to join one of the UK's leading fresh produce providers. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a fast-paced environment, supporting and developing a large team to achieve daily and weekly production targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing Managing the performance of a production team, including Supervisors, Machine Operatives, and Quality staff Overseeing the daily running plan and prioritising workloads Ensuring stock levels are monitored and maintained Driving team engagement, development, and training opportunities Conducting appraisals, reviews, and supporting HR processes Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth production flow Maintaining high standards in food safety, health & safety, and compliance Managing costs effectively and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For Proven experience in a production management or supervisory role , ideally within a manufacturing or food environment Strong leadership and communication skills A proactive, hands-on approach and ability to motivate a diverse team Organised, adaptable, and focused on results A team player who's committed to long-term growth and progression What's On Offer Competitive salary (£32,000–£36,000) Free on-site parking Salaried sick pay scheme Additional holiday entitlement with length of service (up to 5 days) 29 days holiday (pro rata) Real career progression opportunities within a growing business Shift Pattern Week 1:
Sun: 7am–5:30pm Mon:
Off Tues–Thurs: 7am–2pm Fri: 7am–5:30pm Sat:
Off Week 2:
Mon: 7am–5:30pm Tues–Wed: 2:30pm–10pm Thurs: 2:30pm–9pm Fri:
Off Sat: 7am–5:30pm
