The role is based in the UK, supporting Safran Seats’ First‑ and Business‑Class seating markets for wide‑body aircraft. It reports directly to the Project Technical Integrator and is part of a cross‑functional project team (up to 20 members). The focus is product‑level product requirements, specifications and their compliance throughout the development cycle through validation and verification.

• Manage product requirements, specifications and compliance through the product development cycle using validation & verification processes.
• Provide analysis, data and documents to the Project Technical Integrator, including KPIs, verification plans, design specifications, compliance matrices, and requirement traceability matrices.
• Coordinate requirements validation and compliance status with the project team.
• Develop and maintain the product verification strategy ensuring stakeholder agreement.
• Prepare and deliver status reports for requirements capture, compliance status, and V&V activities.
• Maintain product specification documents for internal and customer approval.
• Collaborate with Engineering Design / DMU configurator to maintain product configuration.
• Capture and manage interfaces / definition control models (DCMs) needed for requirement traceability.
• Support the engineering change process and engineering proposals in response to MCP requests during an NPI project.
• Travel within the UK or internationally as needed to liaise with project stakeholders and suppliers.

• Minimum a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Systems, Electrical, Chemical, Software or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an engineering development project team within Design, Stress, Manufacturing or Certification Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in System Engineering requirements management, validation & verification (V&V).
• Experience using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods to define operational, functional and physical requirements.
• Experience progressing DFMEA with a cross‑functional development team.
• Strong teamwork, problem‑solving and communication skills.
