Our client is offering an excellent opportunity for a compliance professional to take the next step in their career as an AML/CDD Officer. The role involves supporting all aspects of investor onboarding, AML reviews, and compliance oversight within a high-performing team.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Conducting assessments of CDD requirements for prospective investors and clients.
  • Liaising with internal teams and external advisors to gather and verify documentation.
  • Collating, reviewing, and analysing CDD information, following up on outstanding requirements.
  • Performing sanctions and adverse media screening using online tools and databases.
  • Preparing risk assessments for review by senior compliance staff.
  • Carrying out periodic CDD file reviews in accordance with internal AML/CFT policies.
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new investors and ensuring timely completion of due diligence checks.
  • Assisting in the review and enhancement of internal AML procedures and documentation.
  • Contributing to team meetings and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
  • Managing workloads effectively to meet key deadlines, particularly during fund closings and distributions.
Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in AML, CDD, remediation, or onboarding within a regulated financial services environment-ideally in fund administration or investment management. They will be detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with a sound understanding of Guernsey's AML/CFT regulatory framework. A relevant compliance qualification (such as ICA, ACAMS, or CISI) would be advantageous, as would strong Microsoft Office skills and excellent written and verbal communication.

The successful candidate will demonstrate high integrity, good judgement, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a collaborative environment.
