HGV Class 2 Driver – Tillicoultry Quarries – Newtongrange site

Tillicoultry Quarries is a successful and fast‑growing family‑owned quarrying company and major supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready‑mixed concrete, mortar, render and sports sand to the building and road construction industry. • Carry out delivery and collection of products to customer sites while maintaining company high standards of Health and Safety.
• Maintain the company vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness to represent the company at all times.
• Comply with the WTD and EU driving rules; keep the licence and CPC cards up to date and valid.
• Deliver asphalt, concrete, recycled products and internal stock; manage driver hours on tachograph.
• Ensure vehicle is clean, safe, legally roadworthy, and report defects; manage legally compliant breaks.

• Valid HGV licence with CPC card.
• Experience driving mixers is beneficial.
• Experience working with digital tachographs.
• Strong awareness of Driver Regulations, specifically relating to Driver Hours & Working Time Regulations.
• Commitment to Health and Safety, and environmental matters.
• Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work overtime, including alternate weekends.

• Competitive salary (starting at £15.11 per hour).

  Monday‑Friday time and a half after 8 hours (£22.67), Saturday time and a half for the first 6 hours then double time, Sunday double time (£30.22).
