Our client, a sophisticated accounting, tax, and advisory practice, is looking to add an experienced Audit & Accounting Manager to its growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone coming from a local, regional, or National CPA firm who enjoys being hands-on with complex accounting and financial statement engagements but wants greater flexibility, long-term stability, and a genuine path for career advancement.
The practice specializes in working with family offices, high-net-worth individuals and families, real estate and partnership structures, closely held businesses, trusts, and private foundations
.
- Remote flexibility with the option to work from the Encino, CA office
- $150K–$180K base salary + bonus
- Long-term advancement opportunities, including a path toward Principal and potential equity
- Flexible hours and the ability to reduce hours or take additional time off during the off-season
- Work directly with sophisticated, long-standing HNW and family office clients
- Exposure to complex real estate, partnership, trust, foundation, and closely held business structures
- Highly tenured team with a strong emphasis on stability and providing a long-term professional home
- Hands-on role where you can own engagements from planning through completion
- Compiled, reviewed, and audited financial statements
- GAAP and income tax basis financial reporting
- Personal financial statements for HNW individuals and families
- Private foundation financial statements and audits
- Complex real estate and partnership entities
- Consolidations, equity-method investments, and multi-tier structures
- Audit fieldwork, reviews, and compilations
- Accounting research, forensic analysis, and special projects
- Managing engagements and client relationships from start to finish
- CPA or CPA candidate with strong relevant experience
- 5–7+ years of public accounting experience
- 3–5+ years of hands-on audit, review, and compilation experience
- Strong financial statement preparation experience, including footnotes
- Experience with real estate, partnerships, HNW clients, personal financial statements, private foundations, or closely held businesses
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and income tax basis accounting
- Someone who genuinely enjoys hands-on accounting work and solving complex problems
