We're unconventional creators of action games for PC and consoles - extremely fun to work with and definitely not for the faint-hearted.

Formerly known as Mad Head Games, we're now Saber Serbia & Saber Bosnia and Herzegovina , part of Saber Interactive. For 15 years, we've been pioneering the regional game dev scene, and our ambition to lead it hasn't changed. Only the name has. We build our games in Unreal Engine. Our latest title, Clive Barker's Hellraiser:
Revival, is a first-person action horror survival game based on the iconic franchise. Before that, we released Scars Above , an immersive third-person sci-fi shooter set in a mysterious alien world, and Pagan:
Absent Gods, a fast-paced single-player hack-and-slash action RPG. On top of that, we've shipped 65 casual and mobile games. Now, we're working on an unannounced AAA title based on a famous and beloved IP that fans are sure to anticipate. We can't reveal much just yet, but it's by far the biggest project we've ever taken on, and we promise it'll generate some serious hype!

What will you be doing at Saber? Design UI art mockups for the game, in accordance with game direction goals, game design requirements, UX wireframes and principles, UI art direction and overall game art style, and fundamental art principles Integrate the user interface into an UE5-based game engine by preparing widgets, textures, materials and data assets for programmers who will implement the logic, in an efficient, systematic, and optimized manner This includes: UI Art: UI art mockups :
Create visually appealing UI art while considering UX wireframes and principles, UI art direction and overall game art style, and fundamental art principles UI animation mockups :
Create visually appealing animation proposals for UI elements Organization :
Maintain organized file structure with clear naming conventions (taking care of file cleanliness, elements hierarchy, naming of files and folders) UI Tech Art: UI asset preparation :
Prepare and export art files ready for import into Unreal Engine UI integration in the engine :
Efficiently integrate UI elements into the game engine with pixel-perfect fidelity Optimization :
Optimize UI widgets and related assets for reasonable performance Localization preparation :
Prepare UI widgets for localization, including dynamic layouts (resizing and language-based reading direction switching) Screen-size adaptation :
Make UI widgets resize dynamically to different screen sizes and aspect ratios Organization :

What do we expect from our ideal candidate? At least 2+ years of experience, preferably in the gaming industry Experience working on AA/AAA titles Experience working with game engines (preferable Unreal Engine
5) Strong experience in Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator Ability to conceptualize, present, and execute ideas within a tight schedule Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact with team members of different disciplines Identify priorities and gaps in current designs, and contribute/iterate creative solutions Flexible with the adoption of processes, art styles and direction Willing to respond to and adapt to feedback Are a…
