Dallas Medical Center is a 155-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission that offers a wide range of medical services, including 24/7 emergency care, cardiology, wound care, surgical services, cardiac catheterization lab, and outpatient therapy.

Responsibilities

The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care and improve the overall patient experience in the emergency care setting.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current and valid state license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• IV certification upon hire (state specific).
• Current ACLS certificate preferred or within 120 days of hire.
• Current PALS certificate preferred or within 120 days of hire.
