Join us as a Mechanical QC Engineer, playing a vital role in ensuring the mechanical integrity, quality, and operational excellence of critical power plant assets essential to our clients' operations in Water & Power, Oil & Gas, and industrial facilities. This pivotal position demands exceptional technical knowledge of power plant mechanical systems, strong analytical skills, and the ability to execute rigorous quality control protocols to achieve project objectives safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Do
- Quality Inspection & Assurance: Perform comprehensive quality inspections of mechanical installations, equipment, and systems, with a specialized focus on Gas Turbines (GT), Steam Turbines (ST), and Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) within power plant environments.
- Procedural Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to project specifications, international codes (e.g., ASME, API), company standards, and approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for all mechanical works.
- Documentation Review & Approval: Review and approve mechanical documentation, including material certificates, installation procedures, alignment reports, hydrostatic test packages, bolt torquing records, and punch lists.
- Material & Equipment Verification: Verify material traceability, proper storage, and correct installation of mechanical components, piping, rotating equipment, and static equipment.
- Inspection
Activities:
Witness and verify critical mechanical activities such as equipment installation, alignment checks, bolt torquing, piping hydrostatic testing, flushing, and cleaning. - Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and manage non-conformances, deviations, and NCRs related to mechanical quality. Recommend and verify corrective and preventive actions.
- Reporting & Record Keeping: Prepare detailed inspection reports, daily quality logs, progress reports, and turnover documentation with accuracy and professionalism.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with project management, construction teams, client representatives, third-party inspectors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution and quality control.

Experience:
5-8 years of progressive hands-on experience in Mechanical QC Engineering, with a significant portfolio of work in power plant projects focusing on Gas Turbines (GT), Steam Turbines (ST), and Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG). - Certifications: Mandatory CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2 (Certified Welding Inspector). Additional certifications in mechanical inspection (e.g., API 510/570 if applicable to the role, NDT Level II for MT/PT) are highly preferred.
- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of mechanical installation processes, alignment procedures, hydrostatic testing, bolt tensioning, and quality requirements for power generation equipment.
- Technical Acumen: Strong grasp of mechanical engineering principles, material science, applicable international codes (ASME, API, etc.), and best practices for mechanical QC in power plant environments.
- Problem-Solving Excellence: Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in identifying and resolving mechanical quality issues.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
