Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role that requires frequent travelling to the project sites to conduct Air Quality Monitoring. As an Operator/Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring activities, collecting air quality samples while maintaining AQMS Lab Equipment to keep them in a properly functional condition.
We are seeking a highly motivated technician to join our team in Dammam, KSA. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our air quality monitoring stations.
Main Responsibilities- Operation, and routine maintenance of AQMS analyzers;
- Troubleshooting of the analyzers to remove errors and alarms;
- Data analysis & reporting while ensuring data accuracy and integrity;
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all activities;
- Travel to monitoring sites as per the project requirements (preferably having a valid Saudi driving license).
- Valid diploma or certification in Environmental Science, Instrumentation, or related field
- 2-3 years of practical experience in air quality monitoring, data collection, analysis, and reporting with hands‑on experience with major AQM analyzers (Thermo Scientific, Horiba, Environ
SA etc), Dust Samplers and Meteorological Sensors - Proficiency in using different monitoring software
- Thorough understanding of environmental regulations in Saudi Arabia as well as USEPA and OSHA along with the knowledge of the best practices in air quality monitoring.
- Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
- Ability to operate electrical generator for off‑grid mobile AQMS lab operation.
- Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
