OverviewAs Project Installation & Commissioning Manager (ICM), you will coordinate the installation and commissioning phase of the complete project scope of supply, from project handover until execution closure. Your role spans multiple projects in the Middle East and involves ensuring customer satisfaction, contract compliance, budget adherence, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities- You are assigned to several projects in the Middle East and support the Global Project Manager(s) in negotiating and executing local Installation & Commissioning contracts.
- For offshore projects, you monitor and follow up on activities in construction yards (China, Korea, etc.) to verify equipment status upon arrival in the region.
- You monitor the I&C budget, assess deviations from the contractual scope, forecast time and cost, and plan & reserve field service resources to support scheduled activities.
- Acquire all local required documents (visas, work permits, sea passports) and ensure compliance with local EHS procedures.
- Provide regular I&C status reports to the Global Project Manager, project team, and regional team; lead weekly progress meetings and daily site coordination.
- Prepare and coordinate all site activities needed for site acceptance testing, PAC, and punch‑list completion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent, with 6‑8 years of site supervisory experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience leading onshore and offshore rotating equipment installation & commissioning.
- In‑depth knowledge of centrifugal compressors and related systems (control, anti‑surge, anti‑pulsation, seal‑gas, lube oil, and driver types such as steam turbines, gas turbines, E‑motors, and VFD).
- Proven leadership and decision‑making skills with a track record of delivering I&C activities on time, within budget, and with strong team collaboration.
- Fluent English communication; proficiency in a local regional language is an advantage.
