Supply Chain Manager at Cem Serv

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain processes, supporting business goals, and delivering customer satisfaction through cost-effective strategies and timely delivery of materials and products.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Forecast demand, plan production schedules, and optimise inventory levels.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure cost effective deals and long term partnerships.
  • Evaluate and select reliable suppliers while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Oversee the logistics network to ensure smooth and timely distribution of products.
  • Oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimising holding costs.
  • Collaborate with transportation providers to optimise shipping routes and reduce costs.
  • Implement inventory optimisation techniques and manage inventory accuracy.
  • Identify, analyse, and monitor areas for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Monitor potential risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless distribution processes.
  • Develop and manage the supply chain budget.
  • Identify cost saving opportunities without compromising quality or efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and safety regulations across the supply chain.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments such as production, sales, and finance to ensure alignment and resolve issues promptly.
  • Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide developmental opportunities.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports on supply chain performance.
  • Utilise data analytics to drive decision making and continuous improvement.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.

Experience

10+ Years of experience (3 5 in managerial level)
