Material Analyst - Early Career Training

As a Materials Intern, you will support materials planning, forecasting, and daily tracking of materials availability to align with production schedules. Key responsibilities include creating materials and updating materials BOM for each component, assisting in the logistics payment process, and developing dashboards/tools in Excel or Smartsheet to streamline inventory management.

• oUpdate the materials BOM, Safety Stock, Reorder Levels in ERP on quarterly basis.
• oMonitor and follow-up on materials availability with Sourcing team.
• oAssist and monitor the materials shipping payment process and resolve all related issues.
• oBeing the ERP material master date integrity owner.
• oCoordinate with the warehouse and planning teams to resolve receiving, quantity, or documentation issues.
• oUpdate and maintain inventory dashboards in Excel or Smartsheet.
• oHelp prepare materials-related documentation, reports, and compliance records.
• oAssist the warehouse team for visual management, labeling, and layout.
• oLearn and use ERP tools (e.g., SAP) for purchase requisitions, goods receipts, and inventory movements.
• oProblem solve for availability issues through planning improvement initiatives.

• oBachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• oStrong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, charts);
  Power BI or data tools is a plus.
• oBasic understanding of sourcing, procurement, and inventory processes.
• oStrong communication skills to work across teams.
• oDetail-oriented with an analytical mindset and willingness to learn.
• oPrevious internship, co-op, or academic project in a supply chain environment is an advantage.
• oProficient Spoken and written English & Arabic.
