Advanced Social Work Practitioner – Children in Need Team in Darlington (UK) – £34.45 Hourly

This is an exciting opportunity to join us as an Advanced Social Work Practitioner within the Children in Need Team on a full-time basis for an initial 3-month contract in Darlington. We are seeking an experienced social worker to lead and manage a team of Family Workers. What you will do:

• Oversee and line manage five Family Workers as they manage their Children in Need (CIN) cases within our locality teams.
• Allocate cases in cooperation with Team Managers and provide weekly supervision to Family Workers.
• Monitor and ensure quality assurance of assessments, plans, and records.
• Offer oversight and support in escalating any risks to the Team Manager.
• Join Family Workers on visits to observe and enhance practice.
