The Role

We’re looking for two experienced Supervisors / Construction Managers with a strong mechanical background to oversee the installation of aluminium structures and dome systems on large storage tanks within the petrochemical sector.
You’ll be running site delivery, managing crews, coordinating lifting operations, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to client specifications.

Think hands-on leadership, technical oversight, and keeping projects moving like clockwork.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead site teams delivering mechanical fitting works on aluminium dome structures and storage tanks.

* Coordinate, plan and supervise lifting operations with Appointed Persons / Crane teams.

* Manage day-to-day site activities, interface with clients, and maintain progress against programme.

* Ensure all work meets industry standards, QA requirements, and HSE regulations.

* Oversee toolbox talks, RAMS, permits, and site reporting.

* Monitor installation quality and resolve technical issues on site.

* Liaise closely with engineers, fabricators, subcontractors, and project managers.

* Drive safe working practices and support a strong safety culture.

Experience Required

* Strong background in mechanical fitting on industrial or petrochemical projects.

* Proven experience working on aluminium structures, domes, roofs, or large storage tank installations.

* Solid understanding of lifting operations (crane lifts, heavy lifts, rigging).

* Previous experience as a Supervisor, Site Manager, or Construction Manager.

* Comfortable managing site teams and coordinating multiple work fronts.

* Good understanding of HSE requirements, permits, and site compliance.

Qualifications (Desirable)

* SSSTS or SMSTS

* NVQ in Mechanical Fitting / Engineering

* CPCS or NPORS (Lifting ops / slinger / crane supervision)

* First Aid

* Confined Space (advantage)
